Remembrance Service

Remembrance Service

This is something we started a few years ago after I participated in one with the broader community. In early December, we host a contemplative service for anyone who’s lost a loved one or is still grieving. As you know, the pain as a result of their absence is often more acutely felt at Christmas time. The service is a brief, 40-minute time of remembrance and thanksgiving that concludes with the lighting of a candle in memory of the loved one who has departed.
